Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

which fled in terror after reading the latest question I was asked via the GCS site.

Oooh?!

Aimee- eek! what's the what with the wrath and the tantrum and the glayvin?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Um...hugs Aimee

Also, I'm a total fucking idiot. I ordered those books from the Amazon Marketplace, which is normally cheaper except when you're buying more than one thing, in which case it's cheaper shipping to buy Amazon because you have to pay a flat shipping fee per book with the Marketplace. Plus, because of the delay, it ends up being slower than standard shipping (for the same cost, with this order) anyway.

headTARDIS

I hope I can cancel them quickly.

Nora - I think it's 18%. Is that good?

It sounds good to my untrained ear. Maybe I'll leave stuff alone.

"question: I am gothic. I am a Christian at the same time. I was woundering if it is okay to have sex, and what it feels like."

I think I'm going to pass on answering that question on the site.

Good idea.

Besides, the answer that I *want* to give to part of that question probably isn't one I should: Snarkling, the interet is full of content about what sex feels like. Haven't you heard of a search engine?

Woundering seems to be the sort of wondering that induces wounds. Since this chick can't even seem to embrace wonder without pain, my answer to the second question would be: it hurts.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We have a general contractor that we are doing a big city government job for. Every month there's something "wrong" and our check gets delayed.

It's either lein releases or the girl at the job site is out or there's a frigging cloud in San Diego.

This month, everything went decently well, releases were right and we were to have a check ready at noon today. We paid for a courier to go get the check at noon to run it from San Diego to LA so that we could get it into the bank by 4:00.

Our courier gets there at noon. No check. Guy who needs to sign it is in a meeting off-site. And not only that, he still NEEDS TO APPROVE IT! WTF? The g-d check was cut Wednesday.

Now, the girl at the jobsite who told me the check would be ready at noon is telling the people in San Diego that she never said such a thing. Well then WHY THE FUCK would I send a courier there at noon?? Just for shiggles? I don't think so.

AND NOW, the general contractor has EFFED UP OUR CHECK. That's TENS OF THOUSANDS LESS than what it was supposed to be and noone called to clear it up or tell us what was wrong or anything. We would have spent more on the courier than the freaking check was for.

I just am SO angry and frustrated and pissed off and my bosses are flipping out. Not at me, mind you. They know where the blame lies in this bullshit.

ARRRRGH

Just for shiggles?

It may not make any difference in your day, but I wanted to let you know that this phrase has made mine.
