Hey, man, where are my pants? I have my hippo dignity!

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every girl is pretty when she gets her hair cut.

Many men I know disagree with you, Hec. Hubby only stopped objecting when I said, "Deal with it," and even then he looks mournfully at my head. I work with a couple of guys who say "Women shouldn't have short hair, ever." I called them reactionaries and didn't explain what it meant.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

It is just one of those days where I need to find a cave and hide. I'm not fit for human interaction.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Many men I know disagree with you

Oh, I think it's well established that my opinion in this matter is in the tiniest minority.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Connie - that is my DH too. I got mine cut a week ago and made the mistake of asking if he liked the new cut. His response was to compare me with short hair to him wearing a Yankee's jersey. No matter how nice the jersey is, there is no way I would ever like it.

Fine. Whatever. I'm happier with my hair short.

Are you inferring that there are no humans there?

Are you inferring that there are no humans there?

Humans working at the spas generally know enough to tip-toe around and keep quiet. Juliana has a good idea for a cave, I think.

Much ~ma to your household, Suzi.

Because books.

Suzi, sending all kinds of ~ma for your mom.

Also, I hope poor Hec feels better. Being sick sucks, and being sick with a new baby around is a huge bummer.

Any Somervillians around? Do you drive through Boston to get to Cambrige?

Signed,

No idea of Boston/Cambridge geography, not that it prevents me from setting a scene there

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

where are you driving from?

I'm inferring that there is drinking and carousing there, which doesn't necessarily fall under "interaction" - more along the line of "jolly good fun" and "excuse to ignore everyone in favor of the drink, except when doing shots".

Hubby thinks short hair on a woman makes her look older. I keep pointing out cute girls on TV with short hair and asking if they look old. He doesn't appreciate it.
