To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

The car is going to be ready sometime today and not only is the new battery going to cost me only a little more than a hundred dollars, but the mechanic is going to try to see if they can pick me up here and bring me to my car, since I don't know how I am going to get it otherwise.

Awesome. I knew Mike would do right by ya.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Timelies.

I demanded to know when my next field trip to Target would be last night. Not quite the same as shopping, but cheaper!

Awesome. I knew Mike would do right by ya.

It's quite a relief. I am so grateful to have friends here that have good advice.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Kittenish had what seemed to be a good night and nothing seems off this morning so I am going to keep my later appt as of now. Love the vet though cause they would let me bring her in Right Now if I was worried.

Instead? Cass snooze a little longer. This good.

Vet later.

Cleaning later.

Grocery shopping later.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

The status is NOT quo.

Cass, glad that Kittenish is feeling better and that you have such a great vet. She may have a UTI--the symptoms you describe are what Byron exhibited when he had one. I ended up getting a dry food for urinary tract health to prevent another one.

Mostly lurking...

Pook Kittenish. Glad she seems a little better this morning. Glad Cass is getting a few extra zzzzzzs.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I've been in the really rainy parts of Hawaii.

That's some rain.

I expect Thailand's like that, only wetter.

Librarian Warlord

Cass, your vet sounds lovely. Could you get her/him to give the people-doctors some lessons?

I've had a stressful time at work lately -- busy, busy, busy, with a side of pain-in-the-neck -- but not awful. However, the stress seems to be manifesting itself as little muscle spasms that go on for days. At the moment, there's a twitching in my right shoulder that's been going on/off for the last 24 hours or so -- I've also had them in my leg, chest, and foot. It doesn't hurt, but the fluttering is so very annoying (esp. when trying to get to sleep).

However, I did get a pumpkin last night, drew a face on it, glued some feathers on top and put it at the Reference Desk for whimsy.

Car is ready. They're sending someone to come pick me up now. I love my new mechanic.
