There are no absolutes. No right and wrong. Haven't you learned anything working for the Powers? There are only choices.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Was that squeeing from the Northwest that I just heard?

Hey! I'm ... okay, I am that predictable.

$30 says Jilli already has it.

Nope, that one is different from the two I have.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, Happy Anniversary Nora & Tom!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Happy anniversary to the McWarigles!

Seriously. Like, in Vermont, I loved just watching the two of you interact.

Yes, this. Exactly. Ditto San Francisco, even with Tom all worn out from having to spend the day actually working while everyone else was out F2Fing. Even so, still both of 'em all dry and witty and sweet and doting and solicitous of each other all at once.

ION, Ohhhh, I am feeling so good right now. Fed, hydrated, showered, Matilda sacked out in a Moses basket in the living room, rain drizzling outside, Hec enjoying his own luxuriant hot shower (lovely midday showers, when everyone else is gone from the building and we have unlimited hot water). Also, my feet are finally approximately foot-shaped instead of bloated and sausagey. For the first time since last Wednesday, I can wear socks! Go team diuresis!

Plan for the afternoon: Eat lunch. Drink more fluids. Rouse daughter and feed same. Email a couple of Buffistas who are made of awesome and have sent us bunches of fabulous baby (and parent) treats, some full of vibes and ~ma from previous Buffista babies and some brand new. Also some edible. Nap. Rouse daughter and feed same. Eat more. Pump. Finish off the first of the Tanith Lee novels Katie Bee lent me. Rouse daughter and feed same, by which time it'll be night and she'll be all goggle-eyed and wide awake.

This is so much freakin' better than work. Damn!

Wow, that's a great tattoo. From the page: Potts said he hasn't had trouble getting a job, because success is all about how one presents him or herself and doesn't solely depend on appearance."

That makes me really, really happy.

(So does the post from JZ!)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

success is all about how one presents him or herself

Ah, no. Success is somewhat about that.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

JZ and Hec are so obviously in love with little Matilda. It is very sweet to read both of your posts.
