Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

t silly fashion post

You know, it's tough to look cute and be comfortable for school. I feel like I need another wardrobe. I require stuff that can be machine washed (I wore a dry-clean only shirt yesterday - mistake), is cute but grown-up, and comfy. Shoes are needed, too. I don't want to wear my flats (they hurt for walks of any length) and tennies don't look right with everything. Oh bother - I'm not really in the mood to find these new pieces of clothing/shoes.

The A's hat is working! We've scored 2 on Santana!

Oh, *that's* why Robert isn't Skyping me. (And yes, he packed his A's turtleneck and one of his A's hats).

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I've found real love to be more of a startling awareness of someone's significance. It's subtle. The other person simply becomes more real than the rest of the world.

With every fiber of my being, I don't want to deal....But I will. Because I really do care about him SO much, and that's what you do in a relationship.

I think that's the combination that defines it. The first part is more important, but if you know the second part is true , it sort of ices things.

and glad there was talk of drugs , because - someone who takes lots of stuff everyday - still sometimes forgets. like me, today.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, *that's* why Robert isn't Skyping me. (And yes, he packed his A's turtleneck and one of his A's hats).

My daughter is a living rally monkey! I kept the hat on her and kept her in my lap the whole game and the A's barely barely squeek out a win against Santana at the Metrodome. Two home runs by big Frank. Go A's! Go Zito! Go Frank! Go Matilda!

It's a selective breeding program.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So do rally monkeys also bite the bossy fingers right off, too? Probably not without teeth, I'd guess.
