Xander: Hey, Red. What you got in the basket, little girl? Buffy: Weapons.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Matilda's got her A's hat on, I've got the boppy and we're gonna watch the A's play the Twins.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Does anyone have any blowdryer recs?

(I have to to ask again, since my blowdryer is now officially ded.)

Because books.

Lee, I have a Conair 1600, which is a couple of years old and is still working perfectly. It's small enough to pack if you have to, but not too small.

Of course, since it is a couple of years old, I don't know if it's available anymore...

Now tagless for your comfort.

Lee, I bought a cheap hairdryer at Target like 10 years ago. I couldn't tell you what brand, since it's now worn off the side, but I know it was less than $20.

The A's hat is working! We've scored 2 on Santana!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Lee, I think the Makeup Alley girls really dug the Conair Ion dryer.

I've found real love to be more of a startling awareness of someone's significance. It's subtle. The other person simply becomes more real than the rest of the world.

Oh, yeah. And Victor hits it out of the park.

Punishingly Intricate

I treated Monday like a Friday and went out to see the Hold Steady last night and called in sick today (I am crampy) and I slept way, way too late and now I feel like ICK. And I can't remember if I took ibuprofen or not right after I got up. If I took them I took 600mg and wouldn't want to take much more than that for a while. bleh...and I should use this time to clean some of my filthy, filthy house but it's just too overwhelming right now. Hopefully, the tea I have will restore me somewhat.

Herding cats for fun

"I can't DO this. I CANNOT fucking DO this."

This is what Grumpy Me says whenever caretaking stuff for other people must be done. Once Grumpy and Unwilling have vented enough, Sensible and Generous are usually available for the heavy lifting, and Self Satisifed then pats own back for triumph and a job well done.

You there with the back pain: quit passing it around already! Ouch! I have back pain too.
