Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

It took the entire tv version of out of gas to mud the ceiling joint along one wall of the kitchen dinning room area. But I don't think I'll need to do a second pass. Tired.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Tomorrow morning, we're taking the kids to a fall festival at one of the metro parks--straw mazes, pumpkin carving, etc. I hope the weather holds.

Sunday will consist of conquering the mountain of laundry that's accumulated. And getting some packages ready to mail on Monday.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Tonight is more Deadwood viewing. Tomorrow is visiting GF's family day. Sunday is school reading. Monday is first day of class! Woot!

Punishingly Intricate

Tonight should be working on my freelance project and doing laundry but I really want to go with my restaurant critic friend to this new Russian restaurant/club. Tomorrow working, working, yoga. Sunday working, some kind of housecleaning, walking/maybe running. So much WORK to do!

BUT I just booked a trip to California in November!!! Sacramento, San Francisco, PALM SPRINGS!!! WOO!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Well, this weekend WAS going to involve going to a handfasting ceremony for a dear friend and getting to catch up with a bunch of other friends we don't see as often as we'd like. But since I'm barely getting over some strain of The Ick, and Pete seems to be just coming down with it, I think those plans are changing.

Bay Area!!! Yay!!! If you have time to make it to the East Bay while you are here, maybe we could do a brunch or something.

I'm getting the pig!

I got my DVDs today.

Dang it! I mean, you're welcome... but I ordered them when I did because I thought I was being all smart and shit. Someone else's gift arrived late for their b-day and I made the assumption that your pkg would take the same number of days to arrive. Looks like I was wrong. Proven by the week early arrival.

HOWEVER - On the bright side, they got there safely and that makes me happy.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

1) lisah in the area! YAY!

2) ZOMG, want to stomp on people's heads. I am handing over networking opportunities like they're Tickle Me Elmo dolls, and no one is taking me up on them. Sheesh.
