Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

ita, I'm sorry I failed to make that clear. The conflict between [the Natter thread header + accepted practice] and the NAFDA FAQ entry is what I find confusing. I'm not trying to change what we do. I think it works well, in practice, for people who understand the practice.

I'm getting the pig!

I am painting walls this weekend

Woot! We'll need pics when it's completed.

We have had busy weekends the last few weeks and Teacup Guy is exhausted, so it's time for some quiet.

Good for you both. The relaxing and doing nothing weekends are just that much better when you have someone else around to snuggle and veg with. IMO, anyway.

Getting my hair cut and maybe colored, cleaning, then seeing Matilda and her parents.

You're taking pictures, right? Lots and lots of pictures? We could maybe even get one of you with your newly cut hair and holding the wee babe...

Sunday, jack and shit. Hopefully going to see Matilda & her entourage, but I can't make any promises. There will be sleeping, I can promise that.

Your Saturday night plans sound like FUN! And for Sunday, you could seriously use some down time, hon, so take it where you can get it. I'm pretty sure Matilda will still be quite wee next weekend.

My weekend plans include homework, cleaning, possibly running to Sacramento to retrieve mom (looking less likely at the moment), trying to fix my desktop, and going out to dinner with my dad.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Matilda is lovely. I just skippity-skipped a whole bunch.

Just woke from a dream which was part A-team, and part Buffy. Suburban (as in, a neighborhood full of nice little bungalows and big, nicely landscaped lawns) warfare against an enemy know to be cruel to POWs. I and my team were trapped inside a house, surrounded by the enemy who may or may not have known we were there, and Dawn Summers who had been working intelligence was trapped in a nearby house, had been held there for three years. I kept calling for back-up (there was hooting like an owl involved), and trying to work out a plan to get Dawn out too, as there was no way in hell I was going to leave her behind.

All righty - where is everyone? I am editing a document. I am not an editor. I'm a numbers person. Formatting? Consistant style? Grammar? My brain is about to go explody.

Herding cats for fun

Me, I love editing documents and adjusting the formatting and making sure I don't have any ugly line breaks to mess up the flow of my text. Tell you what, Suzi, you come over here and do my math and I'll pretty up your document.

I'm planning on going to Budapest next year

Oooh! You are going to do something on my Dream List! I must bribe you into bringing me a souvenir with my name on it.

Katie - it wouldn't be so bad, the formatting stuff, if the person who wrote the document hadn't so completely screwed up the template. All the tables and headings and such had been set and now they are a MESS. Just grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

And I just realized I have no money for lunch today. Darn kids fleeced me.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

What do people have planned for the weekend? Exciting stuff? Lazy stuff?

Tonight I have plans with a possibly new friend. See after getting screwed by two who I used to spend a lot of time with- I've decided to meet a bunch of new friends, or at least attempt to call some of the people whose numbers I have stored in my phone.

Saturday, getting portrait done and then the Greek festival.

Sunday, finish my skirt and shirt, and possibly wine and Passions with another "new" friend.

KB, I got your email and backflung- it blocked me thought. Budapest has been on my list for a while, but in kind of a "If I ever get the money, it'll never happen sort of way." Screw that, I'm going.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Weekend plans...boring compared to last weekend!

I am going to see a play down in Costa Mesa tonight with Joe and tomorrow I am working. And Sunday is Sterilize The Apartment Day and also Work On Quilt Day. And some viewing of CSI Season 1. (I hate it when Sean is right.)
