Giles, help! He's going to scold me!

Buffy ,'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I found quite the assortment of lyrics for this.

That's the joy of a folk song.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh P-C, I hope so.

Offer made! I, thankfully, will make a little bit more than I was making as an intern (like a couple hundred dollars a month more), plus I get crazy benefits (I, um, think I may be able to get free counseling).

I am very sad, however, that my department transfer involves a physical move to a new cubicle on the other side of the building. I really like my area! It's too quiet over there! I'd much rather stay where I am. Boooo. But, you know, full-time employment.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, P-C!!!!!! Woooo and hooooo!!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay for the good offer, P-C!!!

I, um, think I may be able to get free counseling

I highly recommend you taking advantage of this benefit. It would be great if you could find a way to deal with your family without letting them control you.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Yay, P-C! Verra good news indeed.

{{Sean and S}} May it be quick and have you home with minimum discomfort.

Ten hour days are not my favorite, but I'm not about to say no to the overtime right now. I looked at my budget. It was worse than any nightmare under my bed when I was a kid. Too bad turning on the lights won't make it go away.

Laura, glad to hear Ernesto is turning out to be kinda wimpy around you guys. Still, I imagine you could get a lot of extra water, so I send you not-too-much-water~ma.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay P-C! I know you were expecting it, but still a relief. You may come to appreciate the quiet in the new location.

eta: thanks Sail, it will be mighty wet, but I don't think a big deal. Kids home for a couple days. Maybe we can make a push to fix the stuff that needs to be fixed before we get a real storm.

Yay P-C!

ION, 2 years ago today, at around this time, I was getting married. To say that things are different now is a bit of an understatement. New city, new love, new life. Thanks for supporting me through it all.
