Then I got completely and utterly soaked walking home through a downpour. Doh.

I ended up taking a cab from the Watergate to my apartment. (About 5 blocks, but 23rd is a zone line, so it was $10. Ugh.) I'd been grocery shopping when the storm started, and had no jacket or umbrella or anything with me.

A brownie is probably not an appropriate dinner, is it? Mom and I spent the day together today, mostly cleaning up the apartment and we had a late lunch. So, I am not too hungry, but Teacup Guy isn't going to be home in time for dinner and I don't feel like cooking...
