Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

For the bitches:

'Buffy' star Marsters finds 'Love' By Zap2It.com

James Marsters has booked a new film role and there's nothing supernatural about it.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the erstwhile "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" co-star will appear in the romantic drama "P.S., I Love You," from Alcon Entertainment and writer-director Richard LaGravenese.

Based on the bestselling novel by Cecelia Ahern, "P.S." stars Hilary Swank ("The Next Karate Kid") and Gerard Butler ("Phantom of the Opera") in the story of a young widow who has to fulfill 10 monthly tasks left by her late husband to air her grieving process. Tears ensue.

Marsters will apparently play the late husband's best friend.

The film will begin production in October in New York and Ireland.

Best known as frequently evil -- but often not -- vampire Spike in two Joss Whedon series, the 44-year-old Marsters has also done an extended villainous turn on "Smallville" as Brainiac. He's completed work on the psychological thriller "Shadow Puppets."

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

(How did I get to be the mother of a toddler???)

Seriously! She's younger than Lillian! How's she that old??!?

She remains beautiful, though.

Thrive to spite them

When I first read the news about Masters, my first thought was PS I Love You the teen romance and I was trynig to figure out who he'd play.

Did anyone else read PS I Love You? The main character was a girl who wanted to be a romance novelist, and she, her sister, and her Mom went to do some house sitting in Palm Springs. Where she met a guy and there was romance! and turmoil!

Trust my rage

Thanks, everyone! She is such a fun age and she surprises me every day.

She's younger than Lillian!

Speaking of Lillian, what size is she wearing and could she use any clothes? Several friends gave me tons of adorable clothes when we left NC, but since it's still 90 here and projected to maybe get down to 80 in the next few months, I don't think Ellie will ever get to wear them.

Thrive to spite them

I loved that book. I may still have my copy, but I'm not sure. I kept several of my fave teen romance type books including one where the main character finds out she has cancer. There were several of those probably, but this girl goes off to cancer camp with her bestfriend (who later dies and it's very sad).
