vw is the Mack Daddy of packages, as I can well attest. After my back surgery, she sent me many packages of little, fun stuff like fake tattoos and wee stickers for manicures/pedicures, etc.

ooh speaking of post-surgery packages, I've been wondering what I can do for my aunt who is having rotator cuff surgery in a couple of weeks. If I was in the same town I'd make her food and hang out with her but she's up in Wilmington. I know her siblings will keep her fed and well stocked with books but I'm trying to think of something else to get her to help her out/keep her entertained.

Hey there. I'm sitting in my pretty much totally empty old apartment. I've got a cleaning company coming this morning to scrub it. After that I have to get the last few odds and ends out of the garage. Sweep the garage. Replace a light fixture I removed and take down a few fixtures I added. I have some nail holes to patch up and I think that's about it. I'm going to be so glad to have all of this done.
