Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Quick, easy, outpatient, and effective treatment for S, Sean, and some strength for you.

Can't say it better.

Hurricane day called for tomorrow. No school. Just as well since people are going all crazy. Lines at all the gas stations. I'm not even thinking about checking the grocery store. Bother.

I hope everything goes well for S and that you're both back home today.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Quick, easy, outpatient, and effective treatment for S, Sean, and some strength for you.

Yes, this.

Laura, I hope the hurricane gets downgraded by the time it comes your way and you and your family stay dry and unhurt.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Suzi tell your Mom to knock that racket off and read some more Robert Ludlum books, dammit.

Mostly lurking...

So, after calling to schedule my GYN procedures with the nurse, I got called back by a scheduling person, not the nurse. So, apparently, I'm getting no instructions on what I'm allowed to eat/drink/whatever before the procedures or finding out what they will entail, whether or not I'll need someone there to take me home, etc. I asked to speak to the nurse and was told she was on the phone; I should try back later. Yeah. Thanks for the help.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Sean, best wishes for S.

I believe I'm getting the official job offer in about...an hour.

Sean, I hope you and S are back home soon after a successful outpatient procedure. {{{}}}

vw, that scheduling person deserves a kick in the shins with pointy-toed shoes.

Poor Suzi.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

And...the sun is gone. I shouldn't complain. After all, I have now seen at least 10 minutes of sunshine in the last six weeks. Actually, my mood is much improved over yesterday, but it would have been nice to have just a little more sun.

Of course, my complaints seem petty compared to others' issues. Good weather and no staying in hospital ~ma.
