Much heart~ma and routineness~ma for your dad, Tep. Routine or not, procedures (in my world) are always nervous-making.

Plus, {{{{{}}}}}}} all around for everyone.
~ma for your dad, Teppy!
Also, I just got the weirdest phone call. Like, it's been OVER A YEAR since I put my résumé on Monster.com, and I forgot that it was still apparently active up there, but some lady just called me to see where I was now since she had a regulatory medical writing position open in Ohio. She'd noticed that I hadn't updated Protein Angst in a while, so she figured I had probably gotten some sort of job that kept me too busy to write in it! I'm really not interested in another job right now, but I told her to e-mail me the details anyway since there was no harm in listening, and besides, it would be good to keep in touch with this recruiter for when I DO want to find another job. I need to update my résumé.

I know it's that damned dream that has me more nervous that usual. But I'm also really aware that the man is 64 years old, he's had 4 (or maybe 5?) heart attacks, and, like I said, this is probably close to the 30th angioplasty he will have had. It's all a lot harder on his body than it was when he was 50 years old and this heart disease merry-go-round was just starting.
So, thanks for the good artery thoughts.
Love to alla my Bitches. And their folks.
Best of luck, Teppy's Dad's Heart, from the wife of the man who has single-handedly raised the heart attack survival percentages of the entire county.
Many good artery thoughts, Steph.
Love on JZ and Matilda with all you've got, Hec. It's so very good that they even let JZ lie skin-to-skin with her, since I've always been under the impression that NICU means incubator and hads-off.
IIRC, they now try to do as much skin-to-skin as possible in a lot of places, because it helps the babies. (Google kangaroo care for details.)
good artry thoughts are winging their way to your dad Steph
