JZ said she was much comforted by lying skin to skin with her in the NICU. So I'm going to shower and hustle over to give my babygirl some TLC.
Matilda had to be taken to the NICU last night
aww poor little nugget and her people! Are you guys at USF? If so, I've spent time in that NICU (friends' baby had a traumatic birth suffice it to say he's a whip-smart, cutie head 5-year old now). The NICU staff there was awesome. Hope her problem is fixed toot sweet and she's back with her folks in no time.

Love on JZ and Matilda with all you've got, Hec. It's so very good that they even let JZ lie skin-to-skin with her, since I've always been under the impression that NICU means incubator and hads-off.
The image of the poor little thing with the tubes and wires is making me so sad. I know it's a good thing, but the poor wee thing must be so furious.
I could use some artery~ma for my Dad. He's having yet another angioplasty today, to open up the same vein graft that gets narrowed. At this point, he has an angioplasty to open up this same damned vein abut once a year. This makes probably close to 30 angioplasty procedures for him.
This is as close to "routine" as something like this can be, but I'm asking for good vibes for him because Saturday night I had an utterly terrifying dream -- and utterly realistic, unlike most of my dreams -- that he died. And I'd prefer that this NOT be one of my prophetic dreams.
