What is even happening?

Welcome to the world, baby girl!!!

Love, healing, peace and rest to JZ, and love, peace and rest to Hec and Emmett (while they can get it).

It's beginning to feel like The Day Buffistas Stood Still in here

How did you people stay here and wait for so long? My nerves were too frayed. I took a couple of peeks, early, and then stayed completely away. You're made of sterner stuff than I am. Particularly you, Lee, waiting for the phone to ring. Oof.

Hec said JZ tried really hard, and they could see the baby's head at points, and even tried to vacuum Matilda out, but she resisted, so c-section it is.

Oh, my poor poor poor JZ. The vacuum may well leave her nether regions more enraged than if she'd had a vaginal delivery (without vacuum), and she's going to be recovering from a C-Section, too. Plus, she must just be exhausted.

are any of you surprised that Matilda is stubborn?

That was pretty much my thought. Either that, or she took a peek outside and figured she wasn't nearly prepared enough and ducked back in to start organizing her battle plan, complete with sticky notes.

Well plus, she's a Double-Buffista baby. Is she the first full blooded Buffista? She may well have a GIANT HEAD.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

She may well have a GIANT HEAD

Well, that's better than being a big giant head.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

She may well have a GIANT HEAD.

Heh, I was just thinking about how chimpazees are so lucky, they often drop the babies right on their heads during birth because their birth canal is so large in comparison to the baby's head. While I wouldn't have minded a smaller headed baby, I don't think I'd want one with the intelligence of a chimpanzee. Big heads is what we get for breeding for intelligence.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, that's better than being a big giant head.

How does his campaign slogan go?

"When you think of giant heads, think of the big giant head."

or WTTE.

Thrive to spite them

Emeline is a Double Buffista, seeing as Aimee and MM are both Buffistas.

But Matilda is the first Buffista Baby born to parents who met through the board.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Emeline is a Double Buffista, seeing as Aimee and MM are both Buffistas.

Also born by c-section after walking, pitocin, and a couple hours of pushing!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Awww, baby! Congrats, JZ and Hec! And to Emmett, who I'm sure will be a very cool older brother.

Sean, that's wonderful news about S.!

I'm getting the pig!

Emeline is a Double Buffista, seeing as Aimee and MM are both Buffistas.

Also born by c-section after walking, pitocin, and a couple hours of pushing!

The moral of the story is - Don't have a baby with a fellow Buffista unless you want a difficult delivery followed by a c-section.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

But Matilda is the first Buffista Baby born to parents who met through the board.

So were Jim and Penny an established couple pre-b.org/TT?

Because books.

The moral of the story is - Don't have a baby with a fellow Buffista unless you want a difficult delivery followed by a c-section.

That's what I'm thinking.

Now I want pictures!
