Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

vw, if I were you, and I'm not, I would try giving myself permission to pass it in as is. Sometimes, it's more important for me to finish than to perfect. Well, it isn't at all, but that's my (me-pointed) point. There's so much I don't do, or almost don't do, because I want it to be perfect, but don't have the time-energy-patience-whatever to perfect it. I am a procrastinating perfectionist who gets overwhelmed, because I feel like everything I do could be better, and then I don't have it in me to do these things. I'm really trying to work the good-enough model. And when I do work it, life is better.

Mostly lurking...

Yeah, well, it just might get turned in that way, because I have to get in the shower if I'm gonna catch my bus.

Oh, well. Got more done this morning than I thought I would. That's something, right?

Because books.

Oh, poor JZ. Long labors are so hard. I fully expected to come in this morning to news of the Zbaby. Sending cooperation~ma to the little one, and ease~ma to JZ.

ION, Bartleby is the only Melville I actually enjoyed.

Frosted Flakes:

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I expect that by the time I've arrived at work (uh, no -- I'm still at home), we'll have a ZMAYBABY!!! Woot! Push, JZ, push!

move out and draw fire

Wow, I missed a day or two on the board (deathFlu) and come back to see 8 Beep Mes, and I'm terrified it's horrible news, but this is great!

Tons of ~ma for all 4 Zmayhems. Guess I should mail that baby present at some point.

Midnight Pacific

I think I'm going to name a character this.

Trust my rage

Push, girl, push!!

I've been getting all goose-bumpy and misty-eyed this morning thinking about all the Zmayhems and the arrival of a new baby girl and remembering Ellie's birth. I'm so glad she's almost here.

I know! I've been replaying Sara's birth in my head since yesterday, since she was the most recent.

Sorry about the DeathFlu, Raq. Better now?

Sing it, sistah!

vw, sometimes I feel just taking my shower in the morning is an accomplishment. The fact you knocked out one paper already this morning? Gravy.
