It's because you didn't have a strong father figure isn't it?

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

I just keep checking here and Beep Me!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hooray for Matilda on the way! That news certainly un-Mondayfies Monday.

Because books.

I've naught to do except for wait for the Zmayhem wildfeed.

I have plenty to do, but instead I am refreshing b.org obsessively.

In other news, Deena is made. of. awesome. Which we all knew, but bears repeating.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C needs to come clean the diet coke spew off of my screen. OMG--that is HI-LARIOUS.

I was just glad she didn't think I was being weird and inappropriate.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

Cindy, she's fingertip. Hence my kittens being on some time in the wee hours of tomorrow.

Because she's broken her water, they won't check again until she's feeling a lot more uncomfortable and hence further along.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Jen, are they putting her on the clock for 24 hours post-break, or no?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sure, bring actual knowledge into the process.

But that would please me (if not JZ) mightily. Tomorow would have been my mom's 65th, so a special day already.

Matilda was also my Nana's middle name. (Ooh, weird, and JZ's J is my middle name. Spooooky. Or something.)

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have plenty to do, but instead I am refreshing b.org obsessively.

And checking crack ebay. I do the same thing--even when I'm not spending, I'm looking on ebay.

JZ's water broke last night, correct? And she started contractions around 9ish? I hope she's not in labor too long.

I was just glad she didn't think I was being weird and inappropriate.

As long as she's not in pain, she's probably amused by our interest. Honestly, if you're not in pain or sleeping when you're in labor, you're usually bored.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Whenever I read "Matilda," I'm hopelessly earwormed with either "Waltzing Matilda" or "Matilda" ("Matilda, Matilda, Matilda she take me money and run Venezuela.").

GAH! BATTLING EARWORMS! One in each ear and they're going to duke it out in the middle of my head.
