Barely 3 hours before JZ's water broke, Hec and I were talking on the phone and he told me about how she's got (or she *had*) a unbelievable amount of amniotic fluid, and referred to her water breaking as "the levee giving way."

I feel like our conversation made it happen. D'oh.

Two friends of a friend (hell...they're friends of mine too) were hit by a car, then physically attacked by the driver on Saturday--a combo of road rage and gay rage.

In much better news, I just got a call from Hec. JZ's contractions finally started, and everything is going well.

How are the two people who were attacked? Do the police have/know the person who did the attacking?

They're ok. Really shook up, of course. One of them went over the top of the car and landed on the sidewalk. He's got more injuries than the other one. I think they're both home from the hospital, though.

They're going to fill out the police report today. The attacker fled the scene before police arrived, but they have the lisence plate number.
