Who was the real power? The Captain? or Tenille?

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I can't remember why, but that second doctor said the three day course was better.

My doc pooh pooh's the one day treatment, too, preferring the 3 day. Dunno why.

I am now making cupcakes to take to a thing tomorrow. That's being productive, right?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

KB and beth b are flaking tonight? weeps

JZ and I are planning on coming. We just got back from the birthday party and we're kind of wiped. But she's going to take a nap for a couple hours and I'm going to shower and have a margarita and I think we'll be up for an audience with the Empress.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got up, shot the cat, went back to sleep for a couple hours, went to the store so I could buy milk to have with my coffee, decided that making coffee (and waiting for it to get made) was too much trouble (time), went to the starbucks next to the grocery store, came home, put on inside pants, and have been watching TV since them.

That's a long time to wait to get dressed, but there you go.

Hmm. I have been stuck with needles, and I have taught people how to defend themselves against guns from behind, bought groceries, bought comics, and taken a Lush bath.

I'm worried that's it for today, despite really needing to do laundry and tidy my bedroom.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My doc pooh pooh's the one day treatment, too, preferring the 3 day. Dunno why.
I must have the only goolie in the world that fell for the one-day treatment. Twice. Shhhh, don't tell let it know it was wrong. It wouldn't be the first mistake it's made and it likely won't be the last.

Because books.

Happy birthday, Emmett! Double digits, huh? Whoo hoo!

I had lunch with a writing friend and got my picture taken today, since apparently it's "not the thing" to have website without one. It doesn't completely suck.

Now we're having pot roast for my father-in-law's birthday dinner, which does suck. Blech.

I must have the only goolie in the world that fell for the one-day treatment.

Nah. It worked for me, too.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Damn dog is hassling me to play with the nasty-ass tennis ball she found in a gutter just now when we were out on a beer run walking. I am not touching that damn thing.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, I've been productive. Been working with the cable guy to get my Mother-in-Law's TV and internet hooked up. Harder than it sounds, since the jack she wanted to use was the only one that didn't work, and her cable modem was packed and needed to be found, but it's done and working (except for the one room, but that is of limited importance, as we got her a wireless router). A thank you would have been nice, but what can you do?

I hasve no input on treatments for yeast infections. Another thing I either haven't had or don't know the symptoms of.

brenda, is your dog giving you the look like the dog in the "depression hurts everyone" commercials? Because that's unfair.
