[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Also, did I mention that they ruined and lost some of our stuff? There are drips of paint and bleach on some of the furniture and spackle specks on the xBox. I took pictures of all that stuff yesterday. I need to find out what legal recourse I have to the way they've handled things over the last month.

Hell yeah. Especially since they really had no legal right to be in there in the first place, as far as I'm aware. None of that stuff constitutes an emergency, so they should have no right of access without explicit permission until 12:00 am on Friday.

Go, vw! Those particular landlords have been very crappy considering you've lived there seven (?) years. They should know you by now and the fact they have never shown you any respect needs to be dealt with in a way that makes them HURT. They need a good smiting, of the bank account.

Well, I've only lived there three years. Emily lived there four years. The apartment has been continuously lived in for seven years.

Oh, and Emily reminded me yesterday that we still have one other hurdle to get over with them...the whole paying interest on our deposit thing. If they pull that, then I'm definitely getting a lawyer involved. I've had enough of their shit.

Hell yeah. Especially since they really had no legal right to be in there in the first place, as far as I'm aware. None of that stuff constitutes an emergency, so they should have no right of access without explicit permission until 12:00 am on Friday.

Exactly. But, apparently since there are no beds there they think they don't need to call or expect us to come into our apartment. Grrrrrrr....

ION, I just called to schedule my girly tests that I'm really not looking forward to. They'll be within the next couple of weeks, and I've got to negotiate how I'll be knocked out during them (I'm hoping to convince them that I need general anesthesia...I know it's not really necessary, but with my history, I really need that) and who will come with me. Mom is having hip-replacement surgery on September 12, so mom and dad don't have any other time to take off.

Blech. Too much going on. Really too much.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Can I get a w00t, y'all?

The nifty fighting-AIDS-in-Africa place just called me with a job offer! It's a wee bit better salary, way better bennies, and did I mention the part where I'd get to help a group fighting AIDS in Africa? I gave him the whole "Thanks loads, and I'd like to give you an answer tomorrow" bit, but unless I hear that the company's a secret fundraising front for Rick Santorum I'm taking the offer. Woo-hoo!
