Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You know, people in doctors offices, when I give you information that you asked for, that I had to go digging for before I moved (which means my notes on the information are currently unavailable...in a box), I expect that you won't "misplace" it. That's why patients have things called "files."

I swear to god. Over three months ago we decided to start me on Xolair for my asthma/allergies. The clinic has dillydallied around trying to figure out how they're going to work with Medicare on this, and in the meantime, I'm not getting a medication that could really make a huge difference in my life and the way I'm able to live it. So, NOW you call again for the information that I gave you three months ago so you can re-contact Medicare and start all over.

This is getting ridiculous.

Life's too short to not do what makes you happy.
juliana, marry me? I need to really remember this.

Of course being that the throughfare in question's like I-10, I think there may be "cocksuckers" at both ends.
Having lived off of the 10 for most of my life? There are definitely cocksuckers at both end.

At least I didn't do anything like roll over my hand with the table.
I retract my proposal. Rolling the table over my digits was an accident. All kinds of oops...

This is getting ridiculous.
Bastards!

Oh, and my prego sis is in the hospital. I don't know whether to wish for ~ma that she's okay for the soon-to-be-twins or some calming so the doctors and nurses don't stab her with a spoon. She seems fine now but has to stay over at least one more night for random testing.

I need a nap.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Aw, man! I was all set to visit Portland, too! pout

I need a stint in a Jacuzzi to get rid of the stiffness. Luckily, I have one available to me. Just not now. But after work!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Cass, ~ma for your sister.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Take a nap, sweetie.

The doctors and nurses don't get to spork her regardless of 'tude.

What is even happening?

Wishing for both is probably the best course. When is her due date, Cass?

Also, and apropos of nothing, you are "Cass" to me. I know your real name, and I try to use it in e-mail (although I think I switched back to Cass, by accident, the other day), but you're Cass. It's sort of a funny thing. Similarly, Trudy is "Trudy" to me, even though I know her real name.

I kill myself to not call Cashmere by her first name here, or vw bug (whose first name I typed and then deleted WHEN I was meaning to use her board name, right there) by their first names. I have to remind myself to use Plei's lj name in LJ, ditto for Deena, because I have some recollection of them not wanting their first names associated with their LJs.

Craziest of all, if Lee is using Perkins, I always start to call her Lee. If she's using Lee, I always start to call her Perkins. I have also had the hardest time sticking to thessaly (and/or her LJ name) since I met her in person.

That is all.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The same goes with me. The name really fits her.

Cindy, you are Cindy.

That'll teach you to mock... And it was an *accident*, I tell you.

The doctors and nurses don't get to spork her regardless of 'tude.
Do they get hazard pay though? Cause she can be ten different kinds of evil...

When is her due date, Cass?
mid-November. She's at 32 weeks now. And they are each just over 4 pounds. Frankly, she needs to keep baking them.

Also, and apropos of nothing,
Happens to me all of the time. Even with people I know really well.

I have trouble with people for whom a board name is just a board name, because I sometimes use it. If it works as a nick as well? Then I can play it off more easily.

As for the "Cass," I actually answer to it now. In the real world, on the phone, in e or IM... It's a nick that I have grown to embrace.

Just got sprayed for spiders (the place, not me) and vaguely met the new neighbor. I was just at the beginning of a nap though so I am going back to that soon.

Raining, fire dying, Cass snooze-y...
