Wesley: Hey. Hey, Gunn. Is something weird going on? … Charles, you just peed on my shoes. Gunn: I'll be damned. That's weird.

'Life of the Party'

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

His story ended up with him going out dancing at The Vogue. I had to explain why I was laughing when he brought it up. It was basically just detail to give the story richness but then I started asking for DJ details. I suspect my worlds collided briefly before I knew either of them

Oh, that's funny. What night was he out?

I've sent off a message to some people about Portland goth nights. As soon as I get answers, I'll send them to you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What night was he out?
It was in 1998, I have no idea.

The status is NOT quo.

I wanna go home. Taught four classes and am tired now. Yes, I have a ton to do that I'm actively avoiding, why do you ask?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I now know how much money I have for the rest of the month. It's not very much, but it should be enough. As long as we don't get snookered into taking my M and SiL out to an expensive dinner while we're visiting - SiL seems to think that's an obligatory part of getting together.

{{Cass}} Please don't feel bad about feeling bad.

lisah in "leder"hosen is just the cutest thing in all of cute-onia.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

In the last five days, I have paid for my car, registered my car, gotten a California driver's license, and purchased an auto insurance policy.

BEING AN ADULT IS HARD.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Interview rocked hard, y'all.

The HR person is interviewing people this week, then at the end of this week or beginning of next will pick the top three or so to go on to interview with the head of the department. She told me that at this point she can't see any reason one of those won't be me. Man, I want this to come through.

YAY Brenda!

BEING AN ADULT IS HARD.

This is why we should all read the fine print.

Hey. New board.

I love Emmet's sexual conversation SO MUCH. I kinda wish my exposure to sexual knowledge had been so matter-of-factly handed down by authority figures, rather than having to be picked up on the sly from the internets.

Hippo Birdies, erika.

I missed exactly what happened to Cass, but it sounds like a heartbreaky thing, and those suck. So, ((Cass))

In personal news - the honeymoon period is apparently completely over. My students were right bastards today.

Another example of why we need to read the fine print. Silly students, BE GOOD!
