Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

50!!! Dang! 15 is feeling like a long time right now.

Hope you survived the visit with your sanity intact, Lee.

I forgot to say, go you in the home stretch, vw!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Lee, what were the highlights of the weekend?

We went out and saw our nephew's band play in a divey bar in irvine. Lots of fun. He was lead singer and GOOD. He's 20, so we were among the old folks there--it brought back many "hanging out in bars listening to loud music" memories. Ah, Shaman's in Putney, Vt, I knew you well.

Cash, I don't think I can respond to your comment on Flickr in any way that you would ever see....so I'll respond here!

I made it. Want one? Or two? Let me know sizes. Zazzle hammers me about other copyrighted stuff, but seems to let that illustration slide. [link] (Not that I've tried to, say, put Invader Zim on a baby shirt for anyone here or anything).

ETA: Here's the link right to the Gorey shirt. [link]

Our wings are not tired.

OK, gotta bring on the cute. Mom's 85th was a couple weeks ago and the 4 kids bought her a beautiful carved screen door for their place in Otter Lake. We chose the Loon carving because she likes the loons more than the otters. (silly woman) We had them carve a couple 85's in there too.

Rather than their last name carved we have their email address because mom and step-dad are adorable. The email address is us2ms because her name is Mary M** and his name is Marlin M**. Sweet as M&M's.

Pictures here - [link]

(yes, I know what I will look like at 85 because cloned from the mom)

What a great door, and your mom is adorable! She has a lovely smile (and I do see the resemblance).

Raq, those baby clothes are the cutest. I love the Little Nemo onesie. I've bookmarked the site for when my kids get around to giving me grandkids. Either that or you need to start to make doggie overcoats for dogs the size of, say, a Yorkie.

Laura, that door is so cool! What a wonderful idea. Your mom looked so happy and proud.

ETmake some sense. Geez.

Mostly lurking...

Laura, that door is fabulous. And your mom is a cutie.

There was other stuff, but I'm pooped. And crying. Can't freaking stop crying. Stupid period. Stupid Cambridge apartment. Stupid landlords. Stupid life.

The neat thing about life? It's another day altogether in less than 24 hours. Yay, tomorrow!
