Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, how was Vegas?

It was a lot of fun! I'll probably do a full write up in LJ later, once I've had coffee.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, I wondered about your thread placement, at first. But you know, BtVS brings about all sorts of feelings. I hope it gets easier and happier for you, really soon.
There were peoples I liked and trusted. Then I realized that it wasn't Bitches... I'm like that sometimes.

Yeah, I hate this.

A lot.

Stupid boy! (Boy could easily be swapped for girl at this point. This time? Happens to be a boy. But it would be heart stompy either way.)

I am spent and weepy and stupid. I need a nap. For at least a few hours. It's not like this is totally unexpected but I wasn't ready for it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

ION, I am having a Very Bad Hair Day and my toddler has suddenly decided she is made of velcro. Everywhere I go, there she is. Even the bathroom.

Egad. I hate that. I hope she can settle down and give you a moment to yourself.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ERIKA!!!

What is even happening?

It's a bad HAIR day. And she's been velcro-like for a few weeks now. I'm waiting for the stage to pass, but so far it's sticking. Like, um, velcro.

Hee. I read "bad hair day" the first time, but thought you were being euphemistic.

I just listed it on Freecycle. We'll see how that goes.

Why not throw it up craigslist, too? First come, first serve. The more places you make it known, the more likely you'll be to get rid of it, and sooner, not later. Heck, I'd post it at school, too.

Funniest. Thing. Ever.

Wasn't it? I'm still picturing it. I want it on YouTube.

Cass, you are not stupid. You can't help feelings like this. They just are. Sleep is of the good.

Oh, and in case you were going through the "Oh, I should delete those posts in the other thread, but I got responses and now even if I delete, there are responses, and what to do what to do what to do" stage, I deleted my response to you in the other thread.

It was a lot of fun! I'll probably do a full write up in LJ later, once I've had coffee.

Good!

Digital video camera is on the list for hoping to buy someday. I love how assertive Liv is. She knows what she wants and doesn't take any shit.

So the time spent outside yesterday--it resulted in Owen getting five HUGE mosquito bites on his face. I always put a bit of repellent on the kids with a low-level of DEET (although I avoid the face and the hands completely). And Owen swells like I do. These things are the size of nickles. He started scratching at them this morning so I called the ped triage to ask what to do. Neosporin on the bites and oral Benedryl. I was hoping the kids would take after Christopher in this area. He doesn't welt up at all. *sigh*

{{{Cass}}} That's rough.

vw, I hope someone on Freecycle gives your sofa a nice home. It would be great for some college kid.

I'm currently checking Freecyle and craigslist for a stand up or chest freezer.

Cass, I got the gut-punch feeling a couple weeks ago - it truly does suck. In some ways, it's easier because I know they've been together since I left, but in others, it still blows.

In happier news, Vegas was as fun as always. We got to stay in a penthouse. I did not want to leave.
