A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

sleep. someday i will sleep enough that if I miss some sleep I don't feel half crazy.

Matt fixed half my crziness by talking to guys at the hard ware store that gave us tips for making our walls look better - so that should be no worry . but last night dinner at friends 'til midnight and up early 'cause matt had stuff to do. tonght - another house concert. We just got in. dead, dead dead. I used to be a night owl, but that was when I got up after ten, not 7.I feel desparate for sleep, but am i doing it....nooo....

Cass, that was a very impressive meara. Good work.

It is a very nice day again, just like yesterday, and I should probably go outside and enjoy the lovely weather because it's going to disappear faster than Clark Kent's tie when a kitten's up a tree. But I have so much I want to be working on, so much I want to write and actually put together before I go start this new gig on Monday. I haven't figured out how to balance things enough yet; it feels like eternal catchup.

Which, of course, is why I'm watching season one Angel on SciFi instead of doing any of that. But I have coffee! That's an accomplishment, right?

Librarian Warlord

SA, I envy you your Angel and coffee. I am back at my desk, staring at the same article I was working on yesterday, determined to get it done so I can have the afternoon for working on a lesson plan. Blerg.

Although I don't think she'll read it for a bit:

Happy Birthday, Lee!

Hopefully, our well wishes will be first in her threadsuck, unless she just skips right over.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Birthday Lee!

It is also my friend L's birthday today. We are having a BBQ at her house this afternoon. Two lovely L friends in my life born today.

I'm looking at recipes since I am supposed to bring drunken ice cream or something along those lines. Kahlua ice cream looks good. But I'm thinking some type of slush might be a good plan for a hot day.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Sparky, I hope you can get through the aarticle quickly!

Now all my flatmates are awake, and we all have the same sensibility for a Saturday--hang out, not do a whole lot. Which would be fine, if R's girlfriend wasn't also over they have no inhibitions about PDA; and F is on the phone; and and V is attached to the television. And I am to the internet. Problem is, all this is in the same room. And so it is very claustrophobic in here. Once this thing downloads I am so going back to my room.

F made some fantastic black beans (that were imported from Brasil; otherwise you can't find them in this city) and rise and it was so good I think I moaned. It feels like forever since I've had black beans, though it hasn't been more than a month.
