Anger sounds like the appropriate response to the situation. Don't kill him until after he turns your power back on - harder to get all the evidence all cleaned up in the dark.
'Safe'
Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
That sucks, Kristin! I hope by the time I post this you are again with power.
I went to Macy's after work and spent $100. Since they were having a big ass sale, I got three nice shirts and a jacket, so I am extremely chuffed. The last two times I have been shopping, I noticed they don't count the items and issue a little plastic thingie anymore. IN both stores, they just waved me into a dressing room. I wonder if someone figured out that wasn't stopping shoplifiting or if they now have hidden cameras in the dressing room instead or maybe the merchants in Burbank are just all too laid back and Californian to care.
Done being angry. Power is back on. Electrician seems more oblivious than asshole, having spoken to him.
sometimes being oblivious is being an asshole. Ima just sayin'
I gave blood, painted a few coats of paint on a wall ( while learning what giving blood does to me) and went to dinner at a friends house. DH is falling over, I am pretending I am not falling over
In conclusion:
Everybody get your bork on!
you can leave your bork on.
Bork! Bork! Bork! Bork! Bork! Bork! Bork! Bork! Bork!
Wears Mock-Swedish Chef's hat.
Damn, Kristin, glad you finally got power back, but beth is right. Some people are oblivious by choice, because it's easier than actually giving a shit.
La vida sofa, I can do that! I've got 3 episodes of House left. I think I have my primary mission for today set.
Happy that Lee, Juliana and Emily all get to play in Vegas. Sad I have no money to travel anywhere. Not even money for RUMBALLS. Probably because I overspent at Whole Paycheck last night. I just had to try some of those chocolate bars that Bev linked to in Natter.
IOnotmeN, one of my daughter's kitties has been barfing a lot and started peeing blood. She took him to the vet and it has been diagnosed as mainly age related. Tucker is about 9 years old, now, and the kidneys can start to cause problems in males. Special diet for Tucker! Still, a little scary for teh daughter, I don't think she's ever had a cat long enough to run into this kind of problem before.
Sail! Are we traveling to Milwaukee next weekend?
Yes, we are! Check your e-mail, babe. Looks like Milwaukee is my destination of choice this month. I'm headed over tomorrow to meet my dad and brother and then next week for you and Matt. Thank heavens the price of gas has been going down.
Excellent! I was thinking about renting a car, but now I think the dollar bus might be more within my budget.
Also, I can probably offer the couch at my sister's place if you think you want to stay over.
