Xander: Look who's got a bad case of Dark Prince envy. Dracula: Leave us. Xander: No, we're not going to "Leabbb you." And where'd you get that accent, Sesame Street? "One, Two, Three - three victims! Maw ha ha!"

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Oh, yeah. I went out and looked. It was a much bigger tree than I remembered. Still, remarkably little damage all things considered. The tree was half dead, which is probably why it fell; there just wasn't enough of a root system left on that side to anchor it in the extremely soft soil. The insurance adjuster is coming out Monday to look it over. I'm kinda hoping dad can get a whole new garage out of the deal. If anything, it would force my brother to get all his junk of the garage so they could actually park cars in it.

Peace to Dan and his friends and family. This is such a senseless tragedy. I hope that Dan's family and friends get some comfort from his gift of life.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

X-Posted cause it's funny as shit and just so typically me.

I did an asinine thing at the grocery store. I was buying bread and stuff and asked fot cigs for Joe and myself. The checker went off, grabbed them, brought them back, and showed them to me. I gave her thumbs up. Or, rather, NSM.

I flipped her off.

And proceeded to almost die of embarrasment in the middle of Albertson's. Fortunately, she had a good sense of humor, saw the beet-red heat on my face as I stammered an apology to her in which I said, "Obviously, I do that too often for it to be my default finger signal."

I can never go in there ever ever again.

Does anybody know if that James Marsters' TV movie he did a bit ago is available on tape or DVD? I've got the urge to watch him in a tux again--though his hair is too short--and I foolishly didn't tape it.

What do you think this is, a thread about Spike?!? Where are the baby pictures or links to cat stacking or lewd stories about inappropriate uses for vegetables?

...

Oh wait.

Um.

Carry on.

If it makes you feel any better, Aimee, I could well imagine myself doing that very thing on Friday, which was a day for the recordbooks for its badness. It's very odd, because nothing went all that wrong for me, and it actually ended up quite nicely, but I hate yesterday like a thing that I hate very much indeed.
