So not my day.
Hour and a half appointment with my PCP and her supervising doctor. Words like "flare-up" and "fibromyalgia" and "muscle relaxers" were being thrown around a whole lot more than I'd like. Then there was the blood draw. I stopped counting at the 10th vial.
But is it odd to serve cake at 4ish when folks haven't had dinner.
There is no wrong time for CAKE. I'm glad the issue with your mom's dialysis was able to be figured out.
{{{vw}}} The evening has got to be better.
{{{sj}}}
{{{meara}}} I'm sorry that it worked out like that. You're too awesome for the drama. Much love.
Happy birthday billytea!
Cutie-pie niece! GC, she's too precious for words.
Deena, I hope you enjoyed your time without rugrats.
Yay! My parents are back from Italy!
So, who's having a baby, Aims?
(Yes, I am a big skipper)
I'M SO OUT OF THE LOOP!
Or did you tell me and I forgot? (I thought it might be B, which is why I had to ask).
Also, SQUEEE!
I think you might have forgotten.
She's due day after Joe's birthday. A little girl.
Pfft. Like you've had anything going on Boring McNothingGoingOnenstein
Deena, I hope you enjoyed your time without rugrats.
I did! I dug a big hole in the front yard, and then I planted a flowering pear tree in the hole that I got for only $10.00, and then I took the extra dirt and weeded around the tree in the treelawn and put it all around that tree, and then I watered the new tree, and then I was all muddy from head to foot.
Then Aidan came home evil.
After Aidan came home and I got him to eat his lunch (and I snuck in the shower while he wasn't looking), I went and bought Greg some new shoes for work because the new library building has no padding on the concrete floors and they're no longer allowed to sit between patrons. Stupid libraries. And stupid state that cuts the funding for the libraries.
Then I checked out a book for Aidan that was full of firetrucks (OOOH! TRUCK!) and found out that the books and movies Greg had checked out for himself, on my card, were all overdue (okay, a couple I got for the kids were also overdue). The very nice lady had to come take me away from the self-check out to her special station, override the mess, pretend pay the fine, and then check out the book for me.
Then we got Kara, filled the car with gas (got it free from the local grocery chain for spending our life savings there, but had to drive 35 minutes to the nearest station that took their card) and just got home. Whew. My headache is back. And in an hour I go get Greg!
There may be drawbacks to having the car.
