You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

And for Trudes, "Don't you touch my Hello Kitty!"

You must be so proud!!!!!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I so am! She picked that HK out herself! Also, she is calling it Nee Nee, which is her name for me. Hahahahaha!

What is even happening?

I am inviting my cousins who live a couple of hours away. Most everyone else is local.
Would running it by them make you crazy?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy birthday, billytea.

The status is NOT quo.

Kristin, next time you pop in, did the chiro help?

He did, yes, but I'm still hurting. I'm kind of torn, because he's really, really good and makes me feel a lot better, but he's also a little woo-woo for me sometimes. You know what he made me promise to do? I mean, really promise to do, to the tune of giving me a $10 discount if I said I'd do it? Eat a serving of raw potatoes twice a day for three days. Um. I'm sure that there's a good Eastern medicine reason for this, but I can't quite seem to squelch my cynical WTF.

But he also adjusted my neck and stripped out a binch of screwed up muscles and gave me enough functionality to be able to use the arm in some limited ways, so there's a method to his woo-woo madness, I guess.

My other dilemma with him is financial. I haven't had chiropractic coverage in over a year, so I was really psyched when I saw that I had 30 free acupuncture/chiropractic visits every year...until I found out that he doesn't participate because he "doesn't like what that group is doing for the profession." Dude, I admire that you're a man of principles, but I don't like what $85 per visit is doing for my pocketbook.

In conclusion: yay chiropractor, boo arm still hurting, yay coverage, boo principles.

Would running it by them make you crazy?

I tried to ask one of them and got a non-answer type response. I forget what she said, but it didn't help.

I just feel silly. This should be easy.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thanks, Trudes! I love that picture!

Because books.

If they have to drive a few hours home afterwards, maybe 2 to 5 would be best -- that way they'd have time to get home, without getting home way late.

And you could put out lunch type food from the start, and do the cake closer to 4 p.m. (so people get a hint when it's time to start thinking out leaving).
