mini quiches!
Oooh, good call.
Or/and you can do egg/chicken/whatever salad in little biscuit cups, for a change of pace. You could make them small and one-biteable, if you're looking for finger food.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Anyone buy and love a good frozen spanikopita?
Amy's, IIRC.
Aimee, are you responsible for all the food, or just for bringing one thing?
All of the food. So far I'm doing crudites, spanikopita, a spinach salad, 2 mini quiches.
I feel like I should have something more...meaty or something.
Maybe a chicken salad in mini-pitas.

The TJ's ones are pretty good.
How many guests are you expecting?
Not sure yet. She's inviting between 50-60, but 90% of them won't be coming because they're from Michigan and New York and Ohio...She's only having the one shower and doesn't want to leave anyone out.
So the final number won't be more than 20.
You could make up a pan of chicken, ziti and brocolli. Or a lasagna or baked ziti, and a crockpot full of meatballs. You could get cold cuts (pricier), and finger rolls or good bread, and let people make their own sandwiches (rather than making those little sandwiches).
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BILLYTEA!!
