That is my mantra of the day.
Got to the hospital this morning for my icky girly appointment, and they told me I had no appointment. Now, I didn't screw this up. I wrote it down as I was talking to the woman, then immediately called J to see if she'd be able to take me. We BOTH had it on our calendar.
But, nope. Not in the schedule. So, the only time they can get me in while still in this monthly cycle is on a Tuesday, which is a class day. So, that's no go. So, I have to wait and try again next month.
I'm so pissed off that I could spit. But, J and I made the best of it and went to a diner for bad-for-you breakfast.
Grrrrrrr... I hope my whole day isn't like this.

Just talked to mom on the phone. I'll be seeing her later this afternoon. She sounded good, though. Definitely more energy than she had last night, which makes perfect sense. She had physical therapy this morning, and she stood up! GO MOM!

I'm waiting to hear back from my mom. She had a rough night and her dialysis didn't work right. She talked with her nurse at 2am who wanted her to go to the clinic at 8:30 this morning. I'm trying hard not to worry - but that isn't working very well.

Raq, dreaming about missing your flight sounds like a frustration and anxiety dream. Much like the one where I realize that I'm enrolled in a class I had no idea I was taking and suddenly it's the final, I have no clue and I can't even find my locker. If it's a particularly bad dream, then we commence with the naked-in-public scenario. I think my subconscious is throwing up its insubstantial little hands and processing its frustration about situations beyond my control. The way these repeat remind me of the schtick where the poorly programmed robot gets stuck ramming its head against a wall. I suck at lucid dreaming, so I've never been able to change tack on the dreamship and change it into a flying dream or something nice, but I have managed to wake myself up to stop the dream.
