Anyone good with dream analysis?
Raq, my 2 cent analysis is that its an anxiety dream (those like to recur) that has you powerless and in the wrong place (mine tends to be a french test but I'm in my thirties and why the hell am I in High School). So, what is making you anxious?
At first I thought "In the dream she's unable to get away from her family of origin physically so she wants to get away from something they do or something she does because of them in her life" and it might well have something to do with that...
But then I remembered the state department kerfuffle and the changing of the status of hardship posts in the different countries and how in Iraq and Afganistan you can't bring your family. See? Powerless and in the wrong place in regards to your family (only its the one you built).
I don't see how you can make that concern go away just yet, but maybe you can somehow "confront" the dream by acknowledging what its really about and it will stop.

Polter, its a pain to dole out cash when you hardly have any... but didn't you get these gifts over the years? If so, it likely wasn't always easy for the people who paid you. Try and embrace the "I'm a grown up now" aspect of this -- rather than focus on the always fun the 'how the fuck am I going to DO this?!?!?!" part of being the grown up.
