Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

That's nice, Gris. I like your description and I hope the more traditional dating thing works out for you.

Hey. New board.

I feel bad about continually busting up in here and posting things about myself. I want to keep up and say nice things about things, but every time I come home there's 250 messages, and nearly everything I would say to any of them has been said, hours ago.

For example: Aimee, those pictures you posted about 200 messages ago? So. Cute.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Like, instead of handing them checks or cash, open college accounts in their names? (Not for the married one, I guess.) Some kind of account they couldn't access until a certain time, but for a good cause?

Seconding Laura's suggestion. Go with the savings bonds.

brillig

Do they still do savings bonds? I thought they were discontinued.

Mostly lurking...

Someone make me go to bed. I just can't wind down. But, I have my icky girly appointment early tomorrow morning. I need some sleep.

Our wings are not tired.

vw, you need to go to bed. You know all the ways to empty your mind and make it happen. Now I want to see a post from you on the early shift about the nice, and so much needed, deep sleep you had. sings lullaby

My kids have received a number of savings bonds. They still sell them. I never bought one, just holding them for when they come due for the kids.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

J's twin brother (scornfully): Anyhow, black fingernails are a BOY'S color. Everyone knows that.

Emmett frequently had black nail polish at that age.

Hec needs to send PC music to be pissed at your family by.

Hmmmm. I've got some aggro stuff here...

The mopy music he sent me did wonders. Which is my way of saying thanks Hec!

De nada!

JZ is so full of a Matilda. There's no way she can go back and work a full schedule. She can't even walk up the stairs without gettting thoroughly winded.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I mean it. It's your birthday, man. No insane family stress for the rest of the day. It'll be there tomorrow; that's a given, unfortunately.

Eh. I took a nap, and now I feel like crap, and I still haven't made dinner. Yay.

Hi David! It seemed a bit much to go from full rest to working full time. It is not unusual to get winded as you get larger though. There just isn't a whole lot of room and the diaphragm gets squished.

eta a g, who knew?

So, I'm in town for TWO DAYS. I wasn't even planning to see her.

And her new girlfriend decides that these two days are the perfect days to skip class and drive eight hours to come visit her?

Yeah. This was one of the more painful and awkward evenings of my life...wow.
