Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

========================0-1

(Puppycat wants to post apparently.)

I adore my cattery. They are only open from 8-10 and then from 4-6. I went there this morning at 9 to visit Kittenish and they let me take her into their playroom. Didn't kick me out until 11:30 when they were leaving for lunch. And she really likes one of the women there. Looks sooooo much better and hopefully she'll get to come home tomorrow if the test results come back. Cannot find the words to explain how relieved I am. It's not over, but spending the whole morning with her was lovely.

What is even happening?

This is a major victory, isn't it? Kittenish is the skittish kitty, yes?

Your cats are so blessed to be loved like this, Cass. I'm glad she's doing better.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Phooey. Got the official word. Back to work tomorrow.

On the upside, the Halloweenie is still head-down and has a nice robust heartbeat.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yay for the good Halloweenie news, JZ, and boo for the bad work news. Still, better than durance vile, yes?

Birthday Felicitations, P-C!

I like Pink Lady apples, and Pacific Rose, though they're hard to find. We usually have to settle for Braeburn and Gala, though. Still, apples, yum!

Cass, I'm so glad the kitty's doing better and the cattery people are good at their jobs.

There was more, but I have forgotted it. I'ma take my achy knees off to the comfy couch and a fluffy blankee to read a bit before Eureka comes on.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Am happy that Kittenish is doing well, though sad that JZ has to head back to work.

I'm at the chiro office. I'm hoping I will feel better when I leave, because ow.

Oh, Kristin. I hope you get good and fixed up.

On the upside, the Halloweenie is still head-down and has a nice robust heartbeat.

Tsk. You know, all that time you spent acting sick as a side job, so that med students could learn to diagnose, I expected more from you JZ. I was hoping you'd get 'til the end of the week.

This is huge, yes. Seeing her relaxed (relatively speaking) today was wonderful. And the woman (I need to get her name in the morning) adores her.

Oh good!!! Vet just called. Hyperthyroidism on top of the cardiomyopathy but unless they are masking something else? Treatable. Two meds, one twice a day and one once. The best thing? I get to pick her up tonight. So relieved.

What Cindy said. But yay for a strong and well-positioned Halloweenie.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Yay for Kittenish!

JZ, welcome back to your feet, but sorry about the stoopid work thing.

So I was supposed to start a six week weight loss class through my gym. But since I was the only person who signed up, and one of the gym's (already thinly spread) staff quit, so they cancelled it. I'm going to look over the book tonight, but I think I might try to do it on my own. Dieting will be HARD.

Good news about Kittenish, Cass. Yay for getting her back and with treatable things.

But yay for a strong and well-positioned Halloweenie.

Indeed.

Oh, crap. I just remembered I need to make a phone call. Blech. Off I go.
