Fun with the modern world: everyone gets 3.5 MB of space for email. This is not nearly enough. The DH pitched a fit about it yesterday, as he got 6 emails and that maxed him out - from all up and down his office suite, people chimed in with agreement. So he called the sysadmin and asked if there was any way he could get more space.
They gave him 80 MB.
Dude. If they've got that much, how about giving all four people 20 MB? If they've got that much, and they are sending multiple messages to each person here per day that they are over their limit, why not just expand it?
Happy Birthday P-C!
Congratulations Billytea.
{{}} to all who need them.
Gray and foggy here this morning. And I am starting sloooowly.
Ice probably won't make things more painful, but heat can.
Are there times when heat works? Because when my lower back hurts, the idea of ice makes me shudder, as well as being kind of problematic logistically.
::clutches her heating pad tighter::
Again, my sista!
Indeed!
AmyLiz, I wish you were here. I have 5 leftover cupcakes. Confetti cake, some with cream cheese frosting, some with strawberry, all with flower-shaped sugar sprinkles. No one wants to eat them.
No one wants to eat them.
???!? Madness.
Cutiehead artist guy just asked me to lunch. I suspect he's hoping to pick my brain for job prospects. Still, cutiehead artist guy! Lunch! It's the closest I've had to a pick-up attempt in years.
No one wants to eat them.
I understand the individual words, but put together this way...?
I wish I were there, too! Gods, a cupcake would hit the spot this morning.
Happy birthday, P-C!
And YAYAYAY bt and Wallybee! What utterly fantastic news to wake up to!
September does need to be more gentle with Kristin's shoulder and solicitous toward vw's mom, but in general it is well and truly kicking August's ass.
{{Deena}} Also hee. When I read your post it all seemed so familiar.
Lovely to read Kara's words yesterday.
I'll pass on the cupcakes.
Now I need to scroll back and see what happened to Suzi....

I think it depends on the type of injury and the timing. If lifting whatever yesterday injured (or exacerbated) Kristin's shoulder, then for at least the first 48 hours, ice is better.
There are times I need heat. My pinched nerve in my neck prefers heat when it's acting up, although I will ice it at times; I decide by a combination of feel and timing.
Left over cupcakes? What's that?
