Oh, congratulations, billytea! This is magnificent news.

And Teppy, your tattoo is lovely. Excellent choice.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I don't know why I'm up. It's not insomnia, I don't think. I just woke up early, and don't feel tired at all. I have a feeling that I'll be paying for it later, though.

Thanks for the update on Kittenish and niecelet, by the way. I'm glad you're back in communication with her.

Hi Anne! It's been awhile since I've seen you--how are you doing?

Congrats billytea! And Happy Birthday P-C!

I'm doing okay. Work's a bit busy, and I'm still getting settled into my new (old) city a year after the move. My social life has been a little bit slow to get off the ground, but then again, I've been enjoying the quiet a bit too much to do anything about it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I like enjoying the quiet.

I am about to crash into sleep but having a quiet home for the past couple of hours has been nice so I haven't worried about staying up a little too late tonight.

Thanks for the update on Kittenish and niecelet, by the way. I'm glad you're back in communication with her.
I am so thrilled about my neicelet that I just don't have the words to explain it. I was so worried about her. I still am in ways but she seems so much better now.

It's sad but I really started feeling much less depressed after I saw her and talked to her a bit.

Also I got taquitos before I caught my plane home. Mmmm, taquitos. They were heavenly crunchy deliciousness.

Now to sleep with me. It's not insomnia, it is just trying to unwind after getting home. And now Cass sleeps.

What is even happening?

vw, all the best to your mom, today. Good thoughts and prayers coming her way. I didn't mean that to rhyme, but at least it's not mime. I hope you're doing okay. (Oh, as usual, dear.)

Kristin, I hope you feel better this morning. That sounds so painful.

lisah, your hair looks terrific. A little Cleopatra. A little Betty Page. A whole lot beautiful you.

Erin, pimp-my-book sounds like a fun project. You're such a good teacher.

Aimee, Em is getting altogether too grown up. Stop that, now.

Stolen Cubicle, I think I've been welcoming you for days, in my head, and forgetting to do so, with my font. Welcome.

Anne, are you filling in for me, with the early waking? Ever since school started up, I have, of course, suddenly been able to sleep in. This morning, I could have gone back to sleep. I made myself stay awake, and got up as soon as I figured the coffee for being all made. Apparently, my dh didn't put water in the coffee maker though. I'm glad the pot didn't go all splodey.

Cass, I'm glad you've gotten some encouraging news about Kittenish. May the rest of the news be what you're hoping for. I was just wondering about your niece, the other day. I'm so glad she's home! And you got to see her! And that your family has taken a turn towards rational gee-Cass-loves-the-kid let's-think-that's-a-good-thing.

Met a cute boy at the airport. Chattered before the flight and after waiting for our luggage. And did I ask for his number or get his name? No. Because I am a dolt. Did I mention he was cute? And nameless and phone numberless. Because I am a dolt.

Do you remember how Jon B met FAQ Girl? They met on the train, but he didn't get her number. Later, he caught up with her on Craig's List. I'm just saying.

BILLYTEA, I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, BUT I "KNOW" WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, AND THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' 'BOUT.

Best wishes to you, and the very smart Wallybee who gives good answer.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Congratulations, billytea and the Wallybee!! Good, good news.

Cass, I'm so happy for you! The niecelet and family healing, all good things. Cindy is wise, you can find anything on craigslist.

lisah, love the new do! You rock bangs better than anyone I've seen.

Kristin, do you carry a heavy bag over the shoulder that's bothering you? That was the root problem of my injury. It put a strain on the muscles that hold the shoulder blade in place (they are wee little muscles), so other muscles start compensating. It probably took over a year for the injury to fully develop. Other than anti-inflammatories for the pain, it was about 6-8 weeks of PT that got me back in shape. Also, I quit carrying my book bag over my shoulder and started using a backpack that went over both shoulders to balance the weight.

move out and draw fire

Wait, is today P-C's birthday?!? Excellent! Happy Birthday, P-C!

Hi Raq. It seems like we made it through the day.

Seems like, and that is all for the good. This one was particularly rough. I just hate feeling powerless.

lisah, you are a total betty! Or in this case, Bettie.

Gorgeous tat, Tep. Very nice job they did.
