Angel: You're lying. Gwen: I'm fibbing. It's lying, only classier.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

WooHoo, Mr. Tea! Good for you--and extra-good for her. As Fay would say, bless.

Gorgeous tattoo, Teppy, and amazingly pretty hair, lisah.

I haven't had a chance to say hello yet to Scube, so hi there!

And it's great to hear that JZ is sprung from durance vile and that the Halloweenie appears to be rockin' on with the non-confinedness of her mum.

Kara is just the best, isn't she? A Kara quote can brighten up a whole day.

Best wishes to Kittenish, Cass, and I'm so relieved you're back in touch with your niecelet.

Maria! So good to see you here. You've been missed.

Kristin, I'm so sorry about the shoulder. When I dislocated mine--both of them at different times--I could move them and after the dislocation itself there wasn't very much pain, the arm was just very heavy and didn't respond well to command. Getting the joint back into socket was a white-out sort of pain, but once it was back, there was little residual soreness.

It doesn't sound like a dislocation. I hope you can see a doctor in the morning, to get a diagnosis, treatment, and a script for pain meds.

thanks bev. i've taken aspirin and some leftover muscle relaxors and am feeling a little better, but it still hurts a lot. the more research i've done, the more i think that the hivemind (as usual) is wise and that this is a rotator cuff injury. i've actually had pain in that shoulder for months and months but assumed it was nothing--now i think that this has been a developing problem for a long time and that it's gone to the next level. sigh. chiro tomorrow and appt to see pcp as soon as possible, i think.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

and to complain about my life:

I had to use my inhaler this afternoon , and should probbably use it again. I found out that tomorrow is a spare the air day - which means I should not risk painting the walls I have been preping for three days.... whine, whine, whine.

I have regained the use of my left hand enough to manage the shift button. I credit the plethora of medications I've pumped into myself in the last hour. Look! Capital letters!

I meant to say earlier:

  • loving lisah's hair and Tep's tattoo
  • hugs to beth because she's so huggable
  • yay for JZ escaping bedrest
  • continued kitty-ma for Cass and Kittenish
  • vw, try not to make major life decisions in the middle of the night in the midst of insomnia and worry about a loved one. You have a lot on your plate, so try some good deep breathing exercises and a little "om" to help you stay in the moment rather than fret about the future. It will be okay, really.
  • JenP yayyayYAY for end of treatment!
  • I know I already said it...but yay again for bt and the wallybee!

Okay. Am going to attempt to prop myself into something resembling a comfortable position and try to get some sleep. Night, my Bitchlies.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

ROugh draft is turned in. I'm still 400 words shy on the minimum, but I can make them up. Blah.

I'm feeling burned out and asked my advisor if I could take a short break. He said yes, I could take anywhere from 1 to 9 weeks, if I wanted. I'm thinking two weeks of going to bed at 9pm would do me. Plus, I could download all my books now and be ahead when I start back up again.

Anyway, I'm going to bed now.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Bev! It's lovely to see your pixels....

Congrats on finishing the rough draft, Empress. Sleep well.

Woo hoo, billytea and wallybee!

Hi Raq. It seems like we made it through the day.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

She said yes.

Assuming this means what such things generally mean: OMG!! Congrats!
