Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Raises hand (hah). Yep, Kristin. Walking to the parking lot after yoga a few years back, I stepped off the curb wrong and ended up straining my rotator cuff. Did pt for a bit, which helped a lot. It sucked.

does anyone here have rotator cuff injury experience?

My aunt just had rotator cuff surgery this week! I know she had her injury for a while, like a month or so, before she had the surgery. She kept thinking it was just a pulled muscle and it would work itself out.

I'm sorry I don't have any real useful information. I know it must be painful!

Mostly lurking...

Poor Kristin! I have no advice, but much sympathy.

Someone make me go to bed. Desperate Housewives is just too damned addictive.

Anti-inflammatories and resting it. Wish I could offer more. I did some stretching, but not at first - so chiro is probably the best step for now. Just getting from here to there.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yeah, I'd say the same thing. Advil, and rest it. Try to find a way to sit (maybe propped up with some pillows) so that it hurts as little as possible.

Hot!

Sorry, Kristin. Don't throw fastballs for a couple weeks? (It's a common injury in baseball.)

Hot!

Whee! Thanks!

Oi! Why am I still up?! (aside from the flattery feedback) I have to get up early and go to the dingdang polls tomorrow.

Don't throw fastballs for a couple weeks?

My mother did not appreciate it when I responded to her rotator cuff injury by saying, "This could end your pitching career." Physical therapy helped her a lot.
