Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Say, Aimeé. Here's some info on a study that might be relevant to your paper: [link]

By some calculations, children given the usual schedule of vaccines containing thimerosal receive ethylmercury in doses exceeding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's guidelines for methylmercury, a known neurotoxicant. Because of the lack of pharmacokinetic and toxicity data for ethylmercury, methylmercury has been used as a reference for ethylmercury toxicity based on the assumption that the two compounds share similar toxicokinetic profiles. However, a new animal study shows that methylmercury is an inadequate reference for ethylmercury due to significant differences in tissue distribution, clearance rates, and ratios of organic to inorganic mercury in the brain.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thanks Calli.

The link between thimerosal and autism

I would swear I heard a news report about that over the weekend.

edit: there was also a report about the risk of autism with children of older dads. Older defined as late 50s and later.

Herding cats for fun

Happy Porny Birthday Trudy!!

Happy Fifth Birthday Kara!!

In Today's Kitty News: my newly-adopted Old Kitty is now named Gracie, and it turns out she has plenty of guts. She has braved the wide open spaces of the house that lie beyond her safe place here in the study, done a little exploring, and told the other cats what she thinks of them. They are largely unmoved by her display of temper and things are peaceful. She now feels good enough to have resumed grooming, and the gross areas on her pretty fur coat are becoming ever smaller. Dadcat Dave and I are feeling quite pleased with ourselves.

Edit: If I get to teach a class at Buffista Camp, I think it will be Cat Repair. Or maybe, how to cram more books than you ever thought possible into a limited space.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Teaching a Buffista class...I love all the camps posted - I would love to sign up for most of them. But for me to teach? Gosh...I don't think I have anything to contribute other than running around like a chicken with his head cut off and then crashing into a heap.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Why did my mother feel the need to A) go into my haircuts photo album on Yahoo and B) email me to critique my latest haircut? She complimented me on the haircut I got in May, but she doesn't like the new one, or when I clip it up on one side, or when I part it on the right.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Wait, Sean is working on a TV show? Which one? Cool!

Oh, I'm not out of the loop; it was in Beep Me.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Hey, JenP! I was going to congratulate you, and you're right there! Whee! I wish you quiet health for a long time.

Greetings to StolenCubicle, and congrats to Sean and ChiKat!

At Camp Buffista, I think I would teach either Advanced Justification of Pack Rat Behaviors, or Video Games for Women: I Swear They're Not All Dumb, And You Might Like Them If You Tried.

For a while I forgot what today was, but now I remember in force, and I'm glad I have the Buffistas (and the Bitches) now.

In conclusion, let's make out.

JenP - Sep 11, 2006 8:43:08 am PDT #2591 of 10000

Thanks, Ailleann.

I haven't been able to come up with anything to teach at Camp Buffista. Must work on that.
