Gas is selling for $2.279/gallon here.
Shite! And here I was rejoicing at seeing gas get below $3/gallon!!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

OMG! The War In Iraq is totally, like, working! I am voting Republican in November!!!
Erin, remind my sieve-like brain--where is the krav place you're going to?
The Krav Maga Center, in Lenexa, KS.
Cool beans. I'm going to try and remember to ask about that school tomorrow.
Cool. Lemme know if there's gonna be rats.
(I can't believe I'm going to wake up early, caffienate myself, and EXERCISE on a perfectly good Saturday morning. WHY??? Oh yeah - bodily harm. Neat!)
What furniture did you get?
A stool, a coffee table (both hand-me-downs from my brother), a $30 dresser (carried three blocks back to my place -- good thing my father's in town this weekend!), and an easy chair my father and brother found on the sidewalk and picked up for me. Unfortunately, my brother, in the process of showing me how the footrest part won't go back down if you put it up... put it up and it won't go back down. Which makes getting past it a little difficult. I've got a whole lot of arranging to do, which may happen... oh, in October or something. But it's here! I could actually sit somewhere other than on my futon! In theory.

There was a "change to Republican" table outside the Safeway we went to today. Now, granted, probably the Marina's among the likeliest spots in San Francisco for success, but it's still San Francisco. Seriously, folks.
That sounds good, Emily. Remember that I have a bed frame and some lamps, if you want them.
When I moved to Lawrence, I had no couch. I made a pretend one with the wall, a folded comforter, and two large pillows at either end. I told myself it was minimalist and Japanesesque.
But it was still just a blanket on the floor.
