ION, after this smoke, I need to get ready for a party. IT's coolish out -- I'm thinking hot pink tap pants, black push-up bra, nude wide-weave fishnets, black pencil skirt, indigo vneck sweater, and chocolate wedges with pink ribbon bows.
Hair: Long and tousled.
Eye makeup: light gold, with black eyeliner.
Lips: Classic red
Glasses: Deep red
Perfume: Allure
Erin's going to be The Hottie at the party. Which, frankly, no surprises there.
Erin is chuffed by the pulling out of the tights and sweaters without melting!
Okay, off to the Slut Cave! (i.e. bathroom)
Getting ready music: She Wants Revenge

I suddenly have the mental image of Robin (I) helping you get dressed. With him are Britney Spears, Buffy, and Janet from Rocky Horror acting as his assistants.
Go ChiKat! Woot!
Question for the Bitches: When will vw learn to just keep the tv off the Lifetime channel? I mean, really!
I missed questions.
If i didn't make it clear: I definitely like it. I'm loving it, actually, all the moments that I'm not falling asleep.
Good idea on the Emergen-C. I'm gonna run to the pharmacy soon for that and other preventative magics. I have hand sanitizer just waiting for a convenient storage space; I don't have my own classroom this year, and the giant cart I'm planning on using to carry files and pleasantries such as kleenex, hand sanitizer, cough drops, pencils, etc. from room to room hasn't arrived yet. Along with many other things that will make my life easier, like overhead projectors (the ability to carry my opening problem from room to room and just throw it on the projector will be ver' nice). Getting all the equipment for a brand new school in time for school to start is apparently pretty much impossible.
Debet has me right. This is my first year as a full-on teacher.
I meant to say "Welcome" to StolenCubicle as well, but got too caught up in talking about myself. So I correct now (see, I'm getting better): Welcome, SCube! I like your tagline.
Go Laura with the being a parent who encourages/forces education into children! That's the part of the educational equation that us teachers have so little control over, and it's so important to the final result.
Go Chikat with the almost-there of joining our club!
We do have a lot of teachers. If we're allowed to count non-Buffista friends, then I can add about 20 more to the list: I'm pretty good friends with almost everybody in my year at math for america.
And in non-teacher talk, I leave you with the Best (possibly fake) Commercial Ever, from which I am now taking a tagline: [link]
We already have a shitload: me, Kristin, ChiKat, Gris, Kat, Emily...am I missing anyone?
Hil's teaching, isn't she?
I think I'm allergic to DC. I'm back here a week, and I'm sick again. I barely sneezed the entire summer, but now, full-on stuffed sinuses, wheezing, sore throat from hell.
Hil's teaching, isn't she?
TAing during the year. Not really the same.
