Today I'm dressed in clothes that are "me." But I do need to get a longer crinoline to wear with this lovely pink shirtwaist dress with a lace front. The crinoline I have only works for my other shirtwaist dresses.
It's weird--I can put together more than one work week of vintage, between 50s and 60s. I never would have guessed.
And then there's my perkygoth outfit, finished up by the masterful Jilli with stripey tights. Boy, does it ever make people stare at my knees.

The dress the usual sort of JilliDress (fitted through the torso, full knee-length skirt with ruffles), but is short-sleeved, and has a high collar and lace "bib" effect, in white, while the body of the dress is black.
Oh, WOW. Jilli that's BEAUTIFUL. I totally want one.
Isn't it cute? As soon as my bonus hits the bank account next week (and we figure out how much I actually get to spend after taxes and certain household expenses), I'm buying dresses & jackets from various eBay sellers.
