Have you talked to your lawyer? I'm not sure that talking to them at this point is a great idea. Nor that it will accomplish anything, really. Though I do get the frustration at their stalling.

vw, I would definitely consider the TiVo. Where I live, the monthly fee for the TiVo is actually less than renting a DVR from my cable company, and that's with only basic cable. Plus with TiVo, you get all the swanky extra features.

I'm sending a copy of the letter today, so she'll have it in her regular mail tomorrow. But, in the meantime, lawyer says I need to call and leave a message stating that I'm sending her a copy of the letter and to not call until she receives and has read it (and the letter actually says, don't call me with questions...call my lawyer). Problem with this plan is I'm more than likely going to have to talk to her. She's very seldom not home (eta: and she's difficult to get off the phone).
