Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

This was decades ago though and I know they have a number of options now.

Even on the newest superlow-dose pills, I used to get unbelievable mood swings from BCPs. (And I was on them for so long I didn't even realize how shitty they were making me feel until I stopped taking them -- it was like lifting a curtain of low-grade pissiness and nausea.)

{{sj}}, mine did the same to me. Doctor made me stick it out through three months of hell, only to take me off it at the end and be totally back to normal. SO PISSED.

throws around some -ma and brackets for everyone

Sometimes, "football country" makes me cranky.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

You would think they would figure that out.

Oh, no. They're the DOCTORS. t /sarcasm

Huh. Tag won't close.

IOvainN, I really want this coat

sj, you might want to switch to a female doctor, one who understands just what BCP can do to a woman's body. I've had much better luck with women (although there are a few out there as dismissive as most of the male doctors.)

{{Sean}} May things go well while you're at work. Still sending ~ma for S.

AmyLiz, I'd love to join in watching The King and I with you. We've had nothing but rain and thunderstorms (and hail, again, but no car damage) for the past three days. I don't mind the thunderstorms (cheap thrills!), but I'm a little tired of the gray that goes with it.

I may do that. For the weekend at least I am going to ignore the situation and hope it goes away, because I am not able to deal.

Tons of ~ma to S that everything is fine while you're at work and from now on. Non-worrying~ma to Sean.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My male OB-gyn is so much more respectful of my own opinion about how I'm feeling. Maybe because he's really young? I don't know. Maybe he's smart enough to listen to his wife and sassy office assistant (whom I adore).

Ailleann, this is the land of Buckeye Football. Really. I mean, look at what being a part of the team did for Maurice Clarrett. *eyeroll*

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yup. Mine too. Plus, they always give me their hand to pull myself up. I love that.

You don't have to tell me, I grew up 15 minutes from the Pro-Football Hall of Fame. The only section of our yearbook that was in color was the football section.

It's possible that I'm still a little bitter.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I need to call and make a girlie appointment. I have let that slip. The doc I used to go to moved and now I have to find a new one. Fun, fun, fun.
