Thanks, Sparky! I took her there for lunch, as they have one in the Mission now.
You're welcome. Last time I was in the mission they hadn't finished the one on Valencia. I lurv Cha Ya, and I can even get my DH to go there on occassion (but afterwards he wants dinner since he claims he cannot get full on veggies and tofu).
I have been to yoga, and now I am at work. My good deed for the day, possibly the weekend/week/month, was to buy coffee beverages for all the student workers who are stuck here with me this afternoon.
Tonight, the DH and I are going to see Merchant of Venice -- rumor has it that Shylock is wonderful.
Any coffee-making-cat training tips?
My Cordelia-esque ex-girlfriend had her cats trained to fetch pens. I think the principle might be the same, but the whole "balance" part might get tricky...
Oh, dear. Save me.
I've turned on Lifetime. It's there "Back to School" bad movies weekend. I may not move.

Going back to read now.
waaaaaa! It won't let me see.
I'm a bit meh on the registry thing, personally. We did a couple registries, but honestly, it was because it was like a pretend shopping trip without actually spending any money and we had SO much fun doing it. In fact, now I kind of want to do it again. We didn't tell anyone unless forced to, pretty much. I think Tom's work and my work each got us gifts. We got a few checks from close relatives. A couple of Tom's friends got us stuff on our Amazon list. But we eloped. No wedding = No stress = No presents, and that's fine with me.
(Side note: Also, I hate that it costs so much to GO to weddings. Travel costs, hotel, etc. I work with someone who said that a few years ago they had SIXTEEN weddings to go to in a year, and they *just* got out of debt from that, and now all their newly married friends are having babies!)
Oddly, I don't have the same problem with baby registries. Shit. Babies are expensive and the parents won't get consistant sleep for another 20 years, the least I can do is get some Winnie The Pooh onesies and Baby Einstein DVDs. And those cute little newborn head socks! Aw.
I fixed it Suzi. Sorry, bebe.

Guh! Ded for the awesomeness. I'm not going to be able to contain myself when I see you in person. Geeesh.
