Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

YES. This is a cunning plan. I shall commence pre-work immediately.

ROCK ON.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm so glad, Cindy. Good job, September!

More haircut pictures would be good -- more Plei, some Cindy, some Julia, some Aims once that rockin' cut happens.

My own hair is getting rather large. Hec is taunting me and withholding the clippers and scissors and refuses to say what the long-range plan is, but the situation is getting dire. Bangs not all in my eyes only because they're so crazy curly, ears completely hidden, layers all grown out and bushy, and the just-after-waking bedhead embiggening is appalling (to me, anyway; it just makes him snicker).

And ION: EEEEEEEE! Just got a surprise home visit from JenK! Who is all gorgeous and glowing with happiness at being in SF, and who felt my belly and was able to tell just by touch exactly which way the Halloweenie was lying (and got her hand kicked for her trouble, but didn't seem to mind). She's gone now, but the entire apartment is still kind of shimmery in the afterglow.

brillig

I liked big hair. I didn't have that snow plow thing going on with the bangs though, because no. It was just long, layered, curly, poofy and HOBBITS WOULD HAVE TOTALLY ENVIED ME MY TRESSES.

I love Cindy. And Cindy's cousin.

Ok. Stress headache has turned to migraine territory. Shrink doesn't want me taking my current migraine meds. He doesn't like them...says they mess with my psych meds. But, I don't have anything else to take, other than ibuprofen, which I've taken to no help. I'm miserable and don't know what to do.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

As someone who had migraines for years before they had these modern newfangled migraine meds, let me give you some things to try. Some caffeine might help. I find alternating hot and cold on the forehead really helped--I would either stand in the shower and turn it as hot and as cold as I could stand, or sit next to the microwave, and have an ice pack which I would put on my head while I was nuking a damp waschcloth to make it hot and alternate those. Peppermint aroma is good for migraines, so keep that handy. Drink lots of water and sleep, sleep, sleep.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

vw-

This is going to sound insane, but do you have any Ben-Gay? I have found that the menthol/peppermint aroma and the warmth help if I rub it directly on my face. Yes, I know it is gross.

Oh, I forgot about peppermint. I'll go make some tea. I've done caffeine, hot/cold. I think bed is gonna call soon. Thanks, Robin. I've been doing this for a while, but when I get in pain, I turn into a baby who forgets anything she could try.

Will the meds even help at this point? I know when I got migraines, once they reached a certain point I just had to ride them out. Which I did by lying in a dark quiet cool place being miserable with occassional cool wet things on my neck and forehead. I wouldn't call it 'effective', but maybe 'less horrific'.

Yeah, they do help some, at least. I may give in and take them, but I feel like I should try not to.

What's worst is he took away the compazine, so when I reach the point where I get nauseous, I've got nothing to help that. Gonna sleep with a trashcan by the bed tonight, I think.

Jars - Sep 01, 2006 2:26:22 pm PDT #1494 of 10000

Oh poor vw. Well the peppermint tea will help with the nausea maybe? Other that that, yeah, bucket and towel are your best buds. Go, lie, groan miserably.
