Good luck, Sparky!
Boston someplace, to be exact.
Oh, yay! Does this mean we will get to meet you???
I'm not sure if there's a Boston mailing list like there is for other large urban areas with Buffistas, but if you want to find out which Buffistas live in the area and how to get on the list I'd check with vw bug.
Exactly! And here I am.
I’m home from the big meeting. It went very, very well. I’m encouraged, yet pessimistic. If nothing else, I’ve been validated that I’ve legally been treated wrongly. And, I’ve written a very big check to the nice lawyer man to retain his services to stick it to the man.
I mean, the 80s took 40s & 50s fashion to all sorts of weird extremes, which I got, with it being such a period of uncertainty, but now it just feels incredibly reflexive. Like that dress you linked to, Aimee - it looks more vintage-inspired, except for the fabric.
I keep waiting for the return of the stretchy dresses that were fitted through the bust and waist, but had full knee-length skirts. As soon as those come back, I'm stocking up.
There will be a STAMPEDE of Goths on that day.

Yes. Which is what I really love.
My love of the 80's fashion is probably some childhood issue born of parents not having the money to let keep up with my peers. Blah blah blah.
adds to list of shit to talk to therapist about. Right below where babies come from.

I have hatpins AND pointy boots. No one is stampeding me.
Shut. It.

Probably. But we're outside the city and I don't want to put people out by making them take me places and such. But I'll know more closer to the time. But I better meet you all! It would be the height of ridiculousness for me to be that close instead of thousands of miles away and still not meet people.
