At the zoo yesterday, billytea said that Winnie the Pooh had a lot of explaining to do to kids about the reality of tigers -- Tigger makes you think they're all bouncy and full of energy and running around, and in reality they pretty much sleep all day. Because THEY'RE CATS. That's what cats do.

Since I had to clean off the patio for the storm it makes sense to have a pool party this weekend. MIL gave me a glorious new barbeque cookbook. Thinking thoughts of swimming and eating now.

Things are on hold with Nice Boy. (Officially, things are no-go with Nice Boy, but since the "you're so important to me, we should stick with being friends" speech was followed up with some REALLY good kissing I'm saying "oh, right, of course" and biding my time for a little bit.) Today I ate too much sugar (as in, I hardly eat any and then I went and had a bunch). My friends are demanding I go out and act all "la la I'm having a great time and SO over it and not stressing about you" and they are right but its KILLING me and will expose me to boys.
