Hm. Keeping the peace (or returning to it) hadn't occurred to me as her goal. I figured she was just pissed off at (a) having to cut off her daughter (b) Roman's betrayal (I don't think she knew about it until Niki told her) and (c) Rhonda in general. That fits her administrator role, though, cutting the legs out from under the conflict.
Premium Cable: The Cursing Costs Extra
[NAFDA] A thread for the discussion of all original programming on HBO, Showtime, Starz and other premium channels.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I think she's just sick of their pissing contest disrupting her sense of order and family.
Currently mainlining my DVR'd JOHN FROM CINCY. So far loving it. Send help.
Seriously, though, love seeing Bruce Greenwood on my screen (RIP Nowhere Man) and seeing some wonderful actors (many from DEADWOOD) in very different roles. The kid playing Sean is a TERRIBLE actor, but a hell of a surfer/boarder (which, well, duh, that's why they cast him). I'm hoping he may develop some chops in this company (Kai is occasionally wooden too, but she has enough moments where I want to marry her that I don't mind).
OK, I'm in JfrC for the long haul. It ain't perfect, and I wouldn't have traded DEADWOOD for it in a million years, but it's got it's own charm and a degree of rough grace (especially Ed O'Neill - who'da thunk it).
Funny, I like the way Sean is played. He seems like a realish 13 year old kid.
Glad I didn't quit renting "Six Feet Under". Among other things, Keith's niece, Taylor, is funny.
I'm watching The Wire season finale again, hoping to catch that elusive final 20 minutes (thanks for trying, Corwood, but the disc you sent me had the same problem. I've got a pretty good jinx going on so far). I just had to come in here and say how much I love that Proposition Joe had Omar's clock all fixed.
Eta: I think that's when I started watching 6FU, when Taylor showed up.
Oh, that's right. that killed me, that he really fixed it. Be prepared to weep; George killed me with that one. I still think about it. Not in quite the same way as the word "intimacy" makes me giggle and think "tickle my nuts". Yes. Still. But it's gotten me to give up most talk shows so it's all good.
Yeah, Taylor's a hoot. It could so be a "smartmouthed kid part" but somehow I think she avoids that. If Claire had been on when I was in high school, i'd be her biggest fan. I mean, I still think she's awesome, but I needed the validation more then, you know?
thanks for trying, Corwood, but the disc you sent me had the same problem.
That breaks my heart. I must have deleted the wrong one.
It all worked out, Corwood. It's probably for the best that I saw the first hour several times before seeing the last 20 minutes since those last 20 minutes are so freaking heart-rending. Gah. And now I gotta worry about whether McNulty can handle going back on top of knowing how awful everything is for the kids and Bubbles.
I am trying to think of something intelligent to say about 6FU but my head is too full of Wire. It's funny, I liked 6FU well enough to watch the whole thing, but I can mostly remember the parts that annoyed me, now.
